14. October 2025 - Matjaž Humar recieved Zois prize, the highest national prize for research.17. June 2025 - Zala Korenjak and Sara Klopčič received the Best poster prize at the European Conference on Liquid Crystals.
3. December 2024 - Matjaž Humar has received the ERC Consolidator Grant in the amount of 2.3 million EUR.
3. October 2024 - Zala Korenjak received 'Dr. Uroš Seljak Prize' for the best scientific publications by students.
